CuseMetals is proud to be a Mack Bros. company — bringing the next generation of online metal fabrication to a name that has been forging Central New York since 1883.
Visit Mack Bros. →James Lot Mack and his brother George L. Mack establish Mack Bros. Boiler & Sheet Iron Works in Syracuse, NY — after acquiring the firm Peck & Tyler of Jordan, NY. The company immediately begins manufacturing custom steam boilers, pressure vessels, smoke stacks, ducts, and water tanks.
Under the leadership of George J. Mack, son of the founder, Mack Bros. formally incorporates under New York State law — becoming Mack Bros. Boiler & Sheet Iron Works Co., Inc. The company deepens its roots in Syracuse's industrial corridor.
Following the passing of George J. Mack, his son James L. Mack assumes ownership and the presidency — continuing more than eight decades of family-led craftsmanship and expanding the company's fabrication capabilities.
After over 50 years of service, James L. Mack retires. Ownership passes to James G. Hueber, nephew of James L. Mack and grandson of George J. Mack — keeping the company firmly in family hands into the modern era.
Now led by President & CEO Andy Bartoszewski, Mack Bros. launches CuseMetals — bringing instant online quoting, laser cutting, and on-demand fabrication to the same community we've served for over 140 years. The tradition continues; the technology is new.
